Join our Founding Executive Director, Dr. Kelli Morgan, as she hosts "Angles & Archives," the first in a series of in-person community dialogues about the importance of preserving Black cultural heritage in Detroit. Developed in partnership with The Black Canon, the focus of the first program in the series, and Someday Gallery & Bakehouse, our host venue. The series engages curators, archivists, cultural preservationists, and the public to examine how Black Detroiters have saved, cataloged, and continue to preserve Black art histories across media. This program serves our core mission and values in serving Black artists in Detroit and the Midwest region.
